The most-celebrated franchise—Fast And Furiousis all set to return to Los Angeles to complete the shoot of Fast X: Part 2.

Vin Diesel announced the news on Instagram with a picture of himself and his co-star Jordana Brewster. The two were seen sharing a warm hug. 

Vin Diesel’s caption mentioned, “Fast And Furious is returning to Los Angeles after 25 years.”

“Last week, during the fires that displaced LA, my sister Jordana reached out to me and said to tell Universal to film the rest of Fast X: Part 2 in LA.”

The actor added, “Los Angeles needs it now more than ever. Los Angeles is where Fast & Furious started filming 25 years ago, and now Fast will finally return home. All love…” 

The decision was taken keeping the brutal Los Angeles Wildfires in mind and its devastating impact. 

The post has spread like wildfire on social media. The announcement has won a million hearts online.

Replying to the update, Marvel actress Brie Larson dropped a bunch of red hearts. 

Earlier, Vin Diesel confirmed that Fast X: Part 2 would be his last.

Sharing a note on Instagram, he wrote, “Just finished our end-of-the-week Fast meeting with the writers and the whole team… to say the excitement for our finale was incredibly powerful is an understatement. Wow. So exciting…”

The actor added, “While everyone was heading into the weekend, amped and excited, I thought of you all… reminded of the countless moments when your enthusiasm and passion became the driving force behind our creative journey. Your commitment to our saga has had a unique impact on its success and evolution… as my youngest daughter would say, it is profound.”

Vin Diesel added, “Thank you for being the backbone of this global saga that because of you, transcends the screen. This grand finale is not just an ending; it is a celebration of the incredible family we have built together.”

Fast X: Part 2 will be directed by Louis Leterrier. 

Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Momoa, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Dwayne Johnson are part of the film.
