Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, have reportedly purchased a luxury property worth Rs 44.52 crore in the upscale Juhu area of Mumbai. Property registration documents accessed by IndexTap reveal that the apartment is situated on the seventh floor of an under-construction building.
According to MahaRERA, the project is set to be completed by May 31, 2025. The newly acquired apartment spans 5,112 sq ft of carpet area and includes four car parking spaces. The per-square-foot price for the property is said to be over Rs 87,000.
As per The Times of India, the property registration was completed on December 3, with Varun paying Rs 2.67 crore in stamp duty. However, an official confirmation from the actor’s side is still awaited.
The Juhu and Bandra areas, where the property is located, are home to numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Dharmendra and Aamir Khan among others.
In addition to this new property, Varun Dhawan also owns an apartment in Carter Road’s Sagar Darshan, valued at around Rs 60 crore, according to investormart.co.in. Before moving into the family home with Natasha, Varun had a bachelor pad in Mumbai.
After the birth of their daughter Lara, it was reported that Varun and Natasha moved into a house previously owned by Hrithik Roshan in Juhu, for which they were paying a rent of Rs 8.5 lakh.
On the work front, Varun was last seen in the action film Baby John. He will next be starring in Boney Kapoor’s No Entry 2 alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor. He will also be seen in Border 2, directed by JP Dutta, which will feature Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty among others.
