Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra shared what happened in the initial moments when actor Tiger Shroff's BMW was shot at by three unknown assailants on bikes in Juhu, Mumbai, on October 18. Karan Veer was also leaving the football ground near Pushpa Park, and his car was behind Tiger's when gunshots were fired, leaving two injured. The TV actor did not see the attackers but revealed the confusion among the people when they mistook the gunshots for fireworks. Later, he saw the blood spots and discovered that Tiger's driver had been injured.

In an interview with NDTV, the Pavitra Rishta actor said his car was right behind Tiger's BMW when they were leaving around 7 pm in the evening. He recalled, "By the time we left the gate, by the time my car reached, I just saw blood spots, and I got to know that Tiger's driver had been shot. So, I'm just happy that he's safe, but my heart goes out to the driver, and I hope he recovers well."

The actor shared that everyone was confused about the noise and what it meant. A few children were celebrating a birthday party, and "everybody ran helter-skelter" once they figured out what it was. The actor also plays football with the Bollywood star and didn't get a glimpse of the three attackers who were on bikes who fired around three to four rounds at Tiger's car.

Karan Veer shared that many were taking photographs, and one of the actor's fans shouted out that gunshots had been fired. It alerted everyone that there was a grave situation going on alongside people who were also celebrating with fireworks. "That's when the security got alerted, and we called up the cops. By that time, Tiger had already left with his driver," he added.

The reality TV star also stated that he has known Tiger for a long time, and the Bollywood star is someone who keeps to his work and is very respectful. He shared, "It's very sad to see this happen to him, and I know his family also very well. It's actually traumatising for me also to see Tiger and his family go through this."

The Mumbai Police later shared an update that Tiger's driver, Firdaus, had a gunshot injury to his left arm and was out of danger. Another man, Mr Chauhan, was injured. The ballistic reports state that the bullets were fired from a close range. Around 15 special police teams have been formed for ongoing investigation. The police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the attackers, and one person has already been taken in for questioning.
