Nakuul Mehta enjoys a massive fandom in the television world, and he has a streak of successful shows to his credit.
He forayed into television with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara in 2012. His onscreen pairing with Disha Parmar was immensely loved by the audience.
Last night, he took to Instagram, to share a throwback picture with Disha. He captioned the post, “Hey @dishaparmar. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.”
Disha Parmar re-shared the post with a series of laughing-out-loud emoticons.
In the picture, which seems to have been captured years ago, the onscreen pair looks unrecognisable.

Owing to the immense popularity of their onscreen pairing, Nakuul and Disha were onboarded as the leading actors in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, which aired from 2021 to 2023.
It was a reboot of the highly successful 2011 series of the same title, which had Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar as the lead pair.
Bade Acche Lagte Hai Season 3 soon followed the success of the second instalment, it aired from May 25, 2023 to August 11, 2023.
On the work front, Bade Acche Lagte Hai was Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta’s last project on television. It concluded in 2023.
India Today reported in May 2024, that Mehta has been roped in by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment for their upcoming series Daring Partners. He will be playing the lead opposite Diana Penty. The show also has Tamannaah Bhatia and Javed Jaffrey playing key roles.
The plot revolves around two friends kickstarting their journey as business partners, to establish an alcohol set-up.
