Sofia Vergara, loved for her role in Modern Family, was spotted on a lunch date with Formula One’s seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton in New York City on Tuesday. Pictures from their date were widely shared on social media and became viral in no time.
According to TMZ, Sofia looked absolutely in the moment and delighted in the company of the racing champion. They grabbed a table by the window and sat next to each other, and were so engrossed in conversation that Sofia barely got time to even look at her food.

But the date did not end right after the lunch.
The same report states that post lunch, the two were spotted outside the restaurant, still engaged in conversation as they took a stroll along the sidewalk.
After the brief walk, Sofia got into her car and left.

A few months ago, Sofia described her relationship status as “kind of single”, which made headlines all over. Though neither Sofia nor Lewis have confirmed their relationships, their fans and internet users speculate otherwise.
After her seven years of marriage with actor Joe Manganiello ended, there were rumours of Sofia dating orthopedic surgeon Dr Justin Saliman in October 2023. In April 2024, Vergara also expressed her love for Dr Saliman after her knee surgery.
Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, was reported to be dating Russian supermodel Irina Shayk and Shakira in 2023. Before these, he was in an on-and-off relationship with singer Nicole Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015.
