Salma Hayek, the presenter at the 2025 Golden Globes Awards, congratulated all the winners and gave a special shoutout to those who couldn’t win home an award. She uploaded a series of pictures and videos on Instagram from the star-studded event. And oh boy, the post screams glitz and glam from miles away.
Salma Hayek poses alluringly for the lens in the opening frame. The spotlight was on her 300-carat embellished burgundy gown from Gucci. Emerald jewellery served the perfect contrast. She shared the frame with Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Colman Domingo.
Salma Hayek’s side note read, “Congratulations to all the winners at the Golden Globes, what a way to kick off the year! And to all the fabulous losers- bravo, your incredible work shined brightly and made this season special. Kisses.”
The prestigious 2025 Golden Globes Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, US, on January 5. Selena Gomez’s Emilia Perez and the epic period drama The Brutalist dominated the ceremony.
Emilia Perez bagged four awards: Best Motion Picture (Musical/Comedy), Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song with actress Zoe Saldana winning the Best Supporting Actor award.
Coming to The Brutalist, the Brady Corbet-directed movie won the Best Director, Best Actor and Best Motion Picture (Drama) awards.
In the television category, Shogun found a preference among the jury retaining four wins.
India had its hopes pinned on director Payal Kapadia’s Cannes-winning film All We Imagine As Light. Despite securing nominations in two categories — Best Director and Best Non-English Language Motion Picture, the movie could not take home any trophy.
Speaking about Salma Hayek, the actress spent a fabulous 2024. “2024, what a journey it’s been!
