Ram Charan and Kiara Advani‘s Game Changer is all set to hit cinemas on January 10. Ahead of its release, the Telangana government has denied permission for the 1 am show. However, the government has approved ticket hikes and additional shows for the S. Shankar directorial.

The official statement was shared on X (formerly Twitter).

On Saturday, January 4, Ram Charan attended a press meet in Mumbai. The actor shared that he feels “alone but welcome” as Game Changer marks his first solo film in four years.

Addressing fans, Ram Charan said, “For the first time, I am feeling very alone right now, but also, I am feeling so much welcome. Thanks to all of you here.”

Speaking about the 4-year hiatus, the actor added, “So maalum nahi yaar, mereko bhi jaldi se jaldi karna hai movies. Maalum nahi itna der kyu hota hai [I do not really know. I also want to do movies as soon as possible. I do not know why it takes so long].”

Ram Charan also talked about how working with S Shankar was a “dream come true moment” for him.

The actor said, “Rajamouli sir also said that he (Shankar) is the epitome of commercial films, of larger-than-life films. He has defined global cinema. He was the first pan-Indian director we had. Hats off to him. It is a blessing to work for five years with Rajamouli Garu and then Shankar Garu, it is so enriching as an actor, there is so much to learn.” For the unversed, Ram Charan worked with SS Rajamouli in RRR

Game Changer marks Ram Charan’s debut collaboration with Kiara Advani. Samuthirakani, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Sunil, Anjali and Suryah are also a part of the project.

Game Changer has been bankrolled by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
