A Class 8 student died by suicide in Maharashtra’s Kalyan allegedly after he was harassed at school, said police. The 13-year-old has left a suicide note blaming a teacher and some of his classmates, officials said. Police said the teenager studied at a prominent school in Kalyan East, near Mumbai. In June and July, Europe saw 19 imported cases of the Oropouche virus, as reported by the European Center for Disease Control.
