Turbidity or cloudiness in the lake rose steeply while dissolved oxygen (DO) levels fell during the immersion season, reported Eenadu. New Delhi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has deported Indian fugitive Parminder Singh, also known as Nirmal Singh and Pindi, after a joint operation led by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) through Interpol. According to a CBI statement on X, its International Police Co-operation Unit worked with the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, the National Central Bureau in Abu Dhabi and Punjab Police to secure the deportation. Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday, September 26, pulled up the state government for repeatedly failing to file counters in petitions challenging the hike in cinema ticket rates. Portland: Sixteen states and the District of Columbia have sued the US Department of Health and Human Services, alleging that its threats to pull sexual education funding over curricula mentioning diverse gender identities were a violation of federal law.
