Islamabad: The Taliban on Sunday freed a US citizen from an Afghan prison, weeks after they said they had reached an agreement with US envoys on a prisoner exchange as part of an effort to normalise relations. New Delhi: The Centre has issued operational guidelines for the deployment of about 72,300 public EV charging stations across the country with a Rs 2,000-crore outlay under the Rs 10,900 crore PM E-DRIVE scheme. The norms recommend a tiered subsidy structure to be followed to support the installation of EV charging infrastructure across different locations. Kathmandu: Over 7,700 inmates, who escaped from various prisons across Nepal during the Gen Z protests, have either returned or been brought back to their respective detention centres, authorities said on Sunday. During the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9, a total of 14,558 prisoners had escaped the detention centres across the country, according to officials at the Prison Management Department. New Delhi: More than 300 schools and institutes in Delhi and several airports received bomb threats on Sunday morning, which were later declared a hoax, officials said. The mails were sent by a group ‘Terrorizers111’, which had earlier also sent such threatening communications.
