Peshawar: Pakistan has reported two new polio cases in its southwestern Sindh province, taking the total number of cases in the country this year to 29, the National Institute of Health (NIH) said on Monday. Two students of Delhi University who are natives of Kerala were allegedly thrashed by Delhi police on September 24 over false accusations. The students were identified as Aswanth IT and Sudhin K, both enrolled in first year at the Zakir Hussain College, DU. New Delhi India on Monday announced its joint plan with Bhutan to implement two cross-border rail links of total 89-km length with Bhutanese cities of Samtse and Gelephu at a cost of more than Rs 4,000 crore. The details of the initiative were made public by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri at a media briefing.
