Ahmedabad: Adani Power Ltd on Saturday said it has received a letter of award (LoA) from MP Power Management Company Ltd. (MPPMCL) for supply of power from a new 800 MW Ultra-supercritical thermal power plant, to be developed in Anuppur district. According to India’s largest private sector thermal power generator, the project will help Madhya Pradesh meet its ever-growing electricity demand owing to increased industrialisation and urbanisation. Muscat: A 45-year-old Indian expatriate from Kerala passed away on Friday, August 29, after suffering a heart attack while swimming at Kalbooh Park in Oman’s capital Muscat. Hyderabad: A security guard who was selling ganja at King Koti was arrested by the Prohibition and Excise Department officials on Friday night, August 29. The officials seized 7.2 kilograms of ganja. The accused Arjun Kumar, a native of Bihar had been residing at Eden Garden area in King Koti. He got acquainted with another security guard Rahul Pandari, who is also a native of Bihar.
