The 240-meter television tower in Ukraine’s city of Kharkiv broke in half and fell to the ground on Monday, footage obtained by Reuters showed, after what local officials said was likely a Russian missile attack on television infrastructure. A government employee was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in another targeted attack in Jammu and Kashmir this evening. Mohammad Razaq was shot soon after he came out of a mosque at Shadra Sharief area of Rajouri. He died of his injuries in a hospital. The 40-year-old was an employee in the social welfare department. A fight over requesting the DJ to play music at a wedding led to the death of the bride’s father in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, the police said. An argument had broken out between the bride’s father and their relatives over requesting the DJ to play music. It escalated in to a big fight. Veteran news anchor Huw Edwards resigned from the BBC on Monday on “medical advice”, the broadcaster said, nine months after he became embroiled in a scandal over sexually explicit images involving a teenager.
