A 20-year-old woman was found dead inside the bathroom of her home in Bengaluru yesterday. She was found dead with slit marks on her neck and wrist of her left hand, said police. Two people and their pet dog suffered serious injuries when a dispute between neighbours triggered an all-out assault on a street in Hyderabad’s Rahmatnagar. A 45-year-old worker was killed in an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Salem district on Thursday, and a number of others were injured. Expressing grief over the death of the worker, identified as A Rajamanickam, Chief Minister M K Stalin said he has directed authorities to render all medical assistance to those injured.
