Accusing one Dumpy Ahmed of threatening his wife, verbally abusing his daughters, and even manhandling them, the judge slapped charges for bad behaviour, intimidation, and bullying. The Indian economy clocked a record rise in exports and the sharpest upturn in employment in nearly 18 years in May, according to HSBC Flash Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) data released on Thursday. 121 candidates contesting in the Lok Sabha elections have declared themselves illiterate, and 359 have stated that they have studied up to the 5th grade, according to an analysis of the reports shared by the poll rights body ADR.
