A shopping centre security guard, obsessed with UK TV presenter Holly Willoughby, planned to kidnap, rape and murder her, a British court has heard. According to a report by BBC, Gavin Plumb is accused of hatching a plot to kidnap, rape and solicit the murder of the star, but was thwarted by an undercover officer based in the US. Recent data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) shows that the world’s nuclear powers are continuing to expand investment in strengthening their arsenals. While the total number of warheads around the world is declining, the number of operational nuclear warheads is increasing.
