A five-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool of a residential complex in Gurugram’s sector 37, the police said. The incident took place yesterday in BPTP Park Serene in Gurugram. Mivansh Singla was accompanied by his grandmother to the children’s swimming pool which was 1.5 feet deep, his grandfather said in a police complaint. The boy’s grandmother later went back to the flat to get things for Mivansh but he (grandfather) got a call from his wife that the boy had been taken to a hospital. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the revised NEET UG 2024 results and the toppers’ list after the Supreme Court directed on Tuesday that the compensatory marks awarded to a selected group of students for a Physics question be withdrawn. Previously, the NTA had decided to award extra marks to a select group of students who had marked an incorrect answer due to a mistake in their old Class 12 NCERT science textbook. The recent Union Budget 2024 has introduced significant changes to the taxation of capital gains and rationalisation of TDS rates. Malaysia’s digital minister, Gobind Singh Deo, has asked Microsoft and CrowdStrike to consider compensating companies that suffered losses during last week’s global tech outage, Reuters reported. The outage, caused by a faulty CrowdStrike software update, affected computers powered by Microsoft’s Windows operating system, disrupting internet services worldwide.
