Dev Joshi, best known for the television show Baalveer, is now engaged to his partner Aarti. On Sunday (January 19), the actor announced the big news by sharing a lovely video on Instagram.

In the clip, Dev Joshi and Aarti are seen holding hands. The two are showing their engagement rings against the backdrop of a Lord Ganesh idol. The song Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai playing in the background set off the perfect romantic mood.

The side note read, “And we decided on forever! Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and countless beautiful memories together.” Can it get any better than this? We bet not.

Reacting to the post, Baalveer Returns actress Khushi Bhardwaj wrote, “Congratulations bhaiya (brother).” Dev Joshi’s Baalveer co-star Abhay Bhadoria commented, “WHATTTT. DEV BHAIYAAA BADHAIII HOOO (Congratulations brother Dev).” “Whaaattt, Congratulations bhai,” wished television star, Krutika Desai.  Actor Rudra Soni also congratulated the couple.

Later, Dev Joshi treated fans to another picture with his ladylove on Instagram. The image showcases the couple standing in front of Kamakshya Temple in Nepal. They pose beamingly for the lens, wrapped in red shawls and wearing rudrakash malas.

Dev Joshi captioned the post, “Together, in faith, love and life!”

Dev Joshi and Aarti met during a road trip in Europe last year, reported Times of India. The actor recounted his love story in an interaction with the media outlet.

He said, “Aarti is from Nepal, but she is currently based in Finland. Last year, we were introduced by our family friends during a road trip abroad. We became friends and gradually got closer, and finally decided to get engaged.”

Dev Joshi heaped praise on his wife-to-be, calling her “kind, traditional and homely.” He said, “I always wanted someone like her who I could connect with. We got engaged in Nepal, and later visited Ayodhya temple for darshan. We haven’t set a wedding date yet, but look forward to this new chapter in our lives. I am glad that I have found my soulmate.”
