Pakistan suffered a mini batting collapse and their fast bowlers also looked a bit off-form as they slumped to a loss in Super Over. Following the match, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam was asked by a journalist that whether the loss was an ‘upset’ or USA played ‘extraordinary’ cricket. It seemed like Babar did not understand the question properly and he went on to say that he was ‘upset’ with the result. “Yes we are. I am upset. We are not playing good in all three departments. We are better than that. In the bowling, we are not taking taking wickets in the first six overs. In the middle overs, if your spinner is not taking wickets, its puts pressure on us. After 10 overs, we made a comeback but I think the way they finished the game in the super over, credit to US,” Babar replied in the post-match press conference.
