Paralympics Live: Sakina's Powerlifting Final Starts; India Eye 5 Medals

Paris Paralympics 2024 Day 7, Live Updates: Archer Harvinder Singh reached the quarterfinals of the Men’s Individual Recurve Open at Paris Paralympics 2024. Harvinder came from a set down to defeat Indonesia’s Setiawan 6-2 at the Invalides. Earlier in the day, world Champion Sachin Sarjerao Khilari clinched India’s 21st medal at Paris Paralympics, winning a silver in Men’s Shot Put F46 event. Five more Indian para athletes will have the chance to add to the tally later today, including Harvinder. Later in the day, Dharambir, Pranav Soorma and Amit Kumar Saroha will compete in Men’s club throw F51 final. In women’s 49kg powerlifting, Sakina Khatun will also look to add to India’s tally.
