Yemeni forces warn all international airlines, as well as experts, staff, workers, and travelers from around the world, against operating flights to Saudi airports

Yemen’s Armed Forces says they have successfully targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile on Monday evening, scoring a precise hit by the grace and aid of God.
Yemen's military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement on Monday that the operation achieved a direct and accurate strike on the airport.
He renewed a strong warning to all international airlines, as well as experts, staff, workers, and travelers from around the world, against operating flights to Saudi airports, describing them as unsafe.
The warning explicitly exempts the airports and airspace serving the holy sites in Mecca and Medina.
In a related development, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a separate operation targeting the Khamis Mushait Air Base using a drone, again achieving a direct hit by the grace of God, Saree said.
The operations come amid the Saudi-led coalition’s continued aggression and airstrikes against Yemen, which Yemeni forces have repeatedly stated they are responding to in defense of the country’s sovereignty and people.
Yemeni statements have consistently underscored that the holy sites remain outside the scope of military operations.
Saudi authorities have previously reported intercepting projectiles directed toward Riyadh amid the escalating cross-border exchanges. The latest Yemeni statement highlights the ability of Yemeni forces to reach deep into Saudi territory with precision weapons, including ballistic missiles and drones, as the conflict continues on multiple fronts.
The Sana’a administration declared a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia on July 20, in response to “an unfair and tyrannical siege” on Yemen lasting nearly 12 years.
The Yemeni military has announced several successful operations aimed at ships linked to Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea.
In March 2015, Saudi Arabia and its allies imposed a blockade on Yemen and launched a sweeping military campaign, backed by military, political, and logistical support from the United States and several Western countries.
The war has killed tens of thousands of Yemenis. However, Saudi Arabia has failed to achieve its stated objective of reinstating a puppet regime that serves its interests.
