UGC NET Re-Exam Admit Card 2026 Issued for English, Commerce and Sociology

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the fresh admit cards for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). Candidates appearing for the re-examination of English, Commerce and Sociology can check and download their hall tickets from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, using their login credentials: application number and password.

According to the official schedule, UGC NET 2026 re-exam for select candidates will take place on September 9 and 10, 2026. Applicants are advised to carry their hall tickets along with a government-issued photo ID proof to the examination venue for entry.

NTA scrapped the original UGC NET for English, Commerce and Sociology on August 16, 2026, following the discovery of factual, typographical, and translation errors in the question papers distributed among candidates. A retest was subsequently announced on September 9 and 10, 2026, in two shifts.
