Toxic Box Office Collection Day 10: Yash Film Struggles Before Second Weekend With Rs 1.45 Crore

After conquering opening day with Rs 100 crore, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups is facing a dire second weekend with dwindling numbers. The Kannada and English film, starring Yash, was released in theatres worldwide on August 26, 2026, and smashed the box office. After a decent first weekend, the action film has failed to earn in double digits all week. On its second Friday, September 4, Toxic only raked in Rs 1.45 crore. The bilingual drama also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the action film only managed to earn Rs 1.45 crore on Friday, September 4, with 2,196 shows. It had a more than 50 per cent drop from its second Thursday, September 3, after bringing in Rs 4.25 crore. The shows for the Yash starrer have been significantly reduced during this second week. Toxic goes into its second week with Rs 240.75 crore.

While there wasn't much competition at the box office for its second weekend, viewers seemed to have preferred the big-screen debut of Amazan Prime Video's popular OTT franchise, Mirzapur. The period gangster drama has also been released in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
