‘They’d Rather Have Us LOSE’ Trump Accuses Democrats, ‘Radical Left’ of Wanting US to Lose Iran War

US President Donald Trump has launched a fierce attack on his political opponents, accusing Democrats, the “Radical Left” and communists of wanting the United States to lose the war in Iran rather than see him emerge victorious.

Trump made the remarks in a post on his social media platform, where he claimed his critics would rather see an American defeat than a victory under his leadership.

“The Radical Left Lunatics, Dumocrats, and Communists would rather have us LOSE the War in Iran, than have President Donald J. Trump WIN the War for America,” Trump wrote.

He further accused his opponents of putting their opposition to his presidency ahead of what he described as America’s interests.

“In other words, they'd rather have us LOSE than have us WIN!” Trump said.

The US president then escalated his criticism by describing his political opponents as “very sick people” and accusing them of suffering from what he called “serious TDS”.

Trump used the term “TDS”, or “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, to characterise what he sees as an intense and irrational opposition to his presidency.

“These are very sick people who suffer from serious TDS, sometimes referred to as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME,” Trump said in the post.

Trump has frequently used the term “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to describe critics whom he believes are excessively hostile towards him and his policies. The phrase is not a medical diagnosis but is commonly used in political discourse by Trump and his supporters.

In his latest message, Trump framed the political divide over the Iran conflict as a choice between victory and defeat, suggesting that his opponents would prefer the latter if it meant denying him a political win.
