Sanjay Jaju Stresses Preparedness to Tackle El Niño Impact Across Sectors
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju participated in a workshop organised by the Agriculture department at Rajendranagar here on Friday on advance preparedness and coordinated action to address the potential impact of El Niño across various sectors.
Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Panchayat Raj Minister D. Seethakka and Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari, along with senior officials and agriculture scientists from the Agriculture, Panchayat Raj, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Departments, participated in the workshop.
The Chief Secretary emphasised coordinated, sector-specific preparedness and proactive measures to effectively address the challenges arising from El Niño.
