Red Trolley, Body Parts On Train At Agra Station Lead Police To Chennai House; Suspects Missing

A murky case has been unearthed in Uttar Pradesh, where body parts of a woman found stuffed inside a red trolley aboard the Tamil Nadu Express at Agra Railway Station, which have led police to a house in Chennai, where more human remains were recovered.

The case came to light on August 5, when Agra police found the dismembered body parts inside the red trolley on the train and launched an investigation. Following information shared by Agra police, Tamil Nadu Police examined CCTV footage from Chennai Central Railway Station. Investigators reportedly spotted a man and a woman boarding the Tamil Nadu Express while carrying a similar red trolley.

Police traced the duo to Guduvanchery in Chennai. During a search of their house, investigators allegedly recovered more body parts stored inside a vessel. The two suspects, identified in reports as Manik Uddin Laskar and Bhagabati Majhi, are currently on the run. The deceased woman has been identified in reports as 38-year-old Hayathun Nisha, who was living in Guduvanchery. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and the alleged involvement of the two suspects.

Investigators are also working to establish the exact sequence of events and are using forensic evidence to confirm the link between the remains recovered from the train and those found at the Chennai house.

A search is underway for the suspects as police continue their investigation.
