Jupally Cleans Unhygienic Toilet During Surprise Inspection, Pulls Up Officials

Tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao cleaned the toilet at the Pentlavelli mandal revenue office in Nagarkurnool district after noticing that it was in an extremely unhygienic condition. A video doing the round showed him pouring water and cleaning the toilet, during a surprise visit to the office. The minister stressed that both cleanliness in government offices and timely disposal of grievances are basic responsibilities of public servants.

He also expressed serious displeasure over delays in addressing public grievances. The minister reviewed records and examined the status of applications and files submitted by citizens. He questioned officials, including the revenue divisional officer, over the pendency of applications and reasons for delays. Stating that people should not be made to visit offices repeatedly, he directed officials to clear pending cases promptly and improve service delivery. He instructed the staff to perform their duties with greater responsibility and ensure that citizens receive services without unnecessary delay.
