Four Elected HRC Stewards
Hyderabad: Four Stewards — Raghuram Reddy Ramasahayam, Manish Jaiswal, Krishna Rama Mohan Rao Veeramachaneni (V. Krishna Mohan) and Pochana Seshadri Reddy (P. S. Reddy) — have been elected to the managing body of the Hyderabad Race Club at its 55th Annual General Meeting and elections held at HRC on Saturday.
They will serve a two-year term from 2026 to 2028. The Stewards strength at HRC is 11 including two government nominees.
Five contestants were in fray for four vacant posts. Raghuram Reddy polled 330 votes, followed by Manish with 326, Krishna Mohan (253) and P. S. Reddy (247). The fifth contestant, Madhukar Malgani, bowed out after getting only 149 votes.
Raghuram, Manish and P. S. Reddy were re-elected for a third term while it’s the first for Krishna Mohan.
