Fire at plywood warehouses in Gudimalkapur, no injuries

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at plywood warehouses in the Moghal Ka Nala area of Gudimalkapur on Sunday, August 23, after an electric wire snapped and fell on a tin roof, officials said.

The fire occurred at around 10 am and spread to six warehouses, an official from Langer House Fire Station told Siasat.com. Flames spread rapidly due to flammable material stored in the warehouses and took two hours to put out, he said.

The total damage is under assessment. No injuries were reported.
