As part of the Telangana Rising delegation, Revanth Reddy visited Oxford University and held discussions with Prof. Maya Tudor of the Blavatnik School of Government and Prof. Faisal Devji of Balliol College.
During his interaction, the Chief Minister outlined the Telangana Rising vision and the state's plans to transform Hyderabad into a global education hub.
K. Ramakrishna Rao, adviser and ex-officio special chief secretary, CMO, gave a presentation on opportunities available to foreign universities under the Central government's National Education Policy, with emphasis on the advantages offered by Hyderabad and Telangana.
Professors Tudor and Devji responded positively and offered several contexts for collaboration with the Telangana government. The delegation invited Oxford representatives to send a team to the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on December 7, 8 and 9, 2026.
