Busy director Prashanth Varma touched the seashores of Mumbai for Mahakali special preview and rushed back by the evening flight as the ongoing shooting of ‘Jai Hanuman’ resumes in RFC Hyderabad
Mumbai witnessed an exclusive media preview of the much-awaited “Mahakali”, the next big chapter from the Hanu-Man franchise. The glimpse was screened at INOX Jio World Plaza today, and the choice of venue was intentional.
Shot on a grand scale in IMAX format, Mahakali is designed for immersive, large-screen spectacle and the preview justified every minute spent. Present at the event were Prasanth Varma, creator of ‘Mahakali’ and the architect of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), along with RK Duggal and Riwaz Duggal, producers and owners of RKD Studios.
While Prasanth was rushing from Mumbai Airport to the venue, we managed to catch him on a quick call and thankfully he picked up.
Talking about the film he confirmed, ‘Mahakali’ is an upcoming mythological action-drama slated for a theatrical release Telugu and Hindi.
With ‘Mahakali’, the PVCU is set to enter a new chapter—one that promises mythology, action, spectacle and a larger-than-life cinematic experience. “For that you need to wait and watch the entire film. Will have to wait for its release.”
