Fire scare at LIMS Hospital in Shamshabad, patients evacuated

Hyderabad: Smoke emanating from the operation theatre on the third floor of LIMS Hospital in Shamshabad prompted the staff to evacuate all patients from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), at around 8:20 pm on Tuesday, June 2.

“Some electrical fault caused smoke to originate from the AC and fridge and spread on the entire floor. There was no fire, and no casualties were reported,” an official from the Rajendarnagar Fire Station told Siasat.com.
